We’re based on the sunny southwest coast of Madeira, in the charming village of Arco da Calheta — one of the warmest, sunniest spots on the island. Just a short drive away is Calheta, home to Madeira’s main sandy beach and a lovely marina — with excellent restaurants, cafés, and local shops.
The Calheta marina is also a hub for activities like water sports, dolphin and whale watching tours, and unforgettable sunset cruises — perfect for making the most of your island stay.

We’re Emma & Quim, proud owners of Casa Vista do Ledo — a spacious, family-run villa in beautiful Arco da Calheta, Madeira.
For over 20 years we’ve enjoyed sharing our home with visitors from around the world. We always love welcoming our guests, whether they are multi-generational families coming together to mark a significant wedding anniversary or milestone birthday, or walkers enjoying Madeira's levada trails and exploring the island.
One of our favourite moments is welcoming guests when they first arrive. We often hear guests say, "You live in paradise," as they take in the views. Some guests arrive with plans to be out exploring every day, only to discover that they enjoy spending time at the villa so much that they change their plans and stay in more than they expected.
